OLTL: Is Jessica going back to being a pathetic bore?

It looks like they are bringing lots of characters from the past  one
is one of Jess' ex-boyfriends. I'm not crazy about Ford but I was
liking their s/l. I read he kidnaps Jess but do you think she will
stay her old self? Any insight or thoughts?
