Joyce Doran dies at 78

Joyce Doran, who labored becoming an assistant to producers in film and tv including Howard Hawks, died of natural causes on Friday, November. 11, in Burbank, Calif. She was 78.Doran was Hawks' assistant round the classic 1959 Western "Rio Bravo." Round the number of that film she met her husband to become, Richard Doran, a focus puller on numerous important films at Warner Bros.Later, she was Irwin Allen's assistant for eight years until his dying in 1991.She was an assistant to producers or supervisory producers on numerous Tv shows including "Bewitched," "The Paul Lynde Show," "MASH," "The Partridge Family," "Police Lady," "Police Story" and "Fantasy Island" and also on the 1985 CBS adaptation of "Alice's adventures in wonderland" from Irwin Allen Prods.Before she outdated in 1998, Doran labored for a while inside the Warner Bros.' accounting department.Doran's husband died in 1983.She's managed to get by six children, including boy R.
